The media could not be loaded. Decent solar fountain with a powerful water spout but only functions well under direct sunlight. Will weaken or stop when the clouds come over (as seen in video, where you can also see my other solar fountain that’s a day and night one functioning well). Bought it for all the birds in my garden and they seem to enjoy it. Worth noting that unless using in a pond, you will need a shallow and wide enough bowl/tray (50cm+) to centre the fountain using the suction cups and contain the water been spouted out, otherwise you will have to refill quite often.

I’ve only just got this so can’t comment on if it’s going to last until the weekend or the next 20 years - hopefully somewhere I between. However, I am pleased with it. We have a birdbath by our sunny patio and I thought it would be nice to add a bit of interest. It arrived the day after I ordered it, I took it out of the box, used my common sense to stick a few bits together and dropped it into the birdbath. Hey presto! Instant fountain. Very pleased. The main jet went up about 40cm, which is fine for the size of the birdbath, and I’ll play around with the other nozzles to see which I like the best. It’s self contained, simple to use and extremely good value for less than £20. If it dies this summer I’ll update the post to say so but if this review goes unchanged then it’s doing its job. Review update. It’s still working fine but I’m going to adjust this review in light of experience. I first used the solar fountain in a birdbath but found that after a few days it stopped because the water had evaporated. If it is very warm and windy the fountain of water evaporates quite quickly so I gave up on that and just lobbed it into my garden pond where it has quite happily been fountaining away even in low sun. I have taken out to clean the algae off it twice but apart from that it’s good. If you have a largish container of water such as a large tub or barrel it will be fine.

I have bought one of these every year for the past three for a small garden pond. However this one is not anywhere near as effective as the other two we have had. Of course we expect this relatively cheap item to have a limited effective life span but the previous two have provided a much better fountain of water and have done so for the best part od the summer and following autumn, only getting weaker after a whole year. . This one does not perform any better than the previous (cheaper) one is still performing and which I bought it to replace. . I wouldn't buy this brand again Update to above review: I informed Amazon the item did not work and they sent me return instructions and told me I would receive a refund. I handed the item in to their named carriers as instructed and received a receipt. Now, weeks later Amazon say they did not receive the item and have charged me for the full cost from the original payment method. I want to show them my receipt for the item but there seems to be no mechanism for doing this. I am seriously considering cancelling my Amazon Prime membership as the relationship between Amazon and its customers seems to be one that is intrinsically one where customers do not have a fair deal

I purchased this solar fountain pump based on positive reviews, hoping to add a water feature to my medium-sized whisky barrel pond. The pump arrived with six nozzles and instructions for various configurations, plus some small straws of unknown purpose. While the pump functions well in strong sunlight, consistently providing a water display, it has a significant drawback: the water spray is quite powerful. Even with numerous nozzle adjustments and my own experimental configurations, the slightest breeze causes the water to spray over the edge of the barrel, resulting in water loss. This renders it less effective than hoped for my specific needs. The pump's performance also suffers under slight cloud cover, becoming intermittent and unreliable. While the product itself works as advertised when the sun is out, its power and suitability are questionable for a smaller pond. I'm currently exploring ways to keep the pump more centrally positioned, hoping this might mitigate some of the water spillage. Overall, a decent pump for larger ponds perhaps, but less suitable for my situation.

It's okay. Decent quality, however it only really works on full power for about an hour a day...if that. It needs strong, consistent sunlight to even attempt pushing water out the spout, so don't even bother if you're planning to put it anywhere that gets shaded and can't imagine it'll be any use at all after summer here in the UK. However, for the occasional times I spot it working, it looks great. Will be upgrading for a better alternative in the future...

The media could not be loaded. Just packat upp fontänen ur paketet. Nu testkör vi den och den verkar fungera precis så som beskrivningen säger. Fontänen har sol från morgon till kväll, vid lite sämre solstrålar (skugga) så pumpar den ändå ut lite vatten.

J'avais besoin d'une fontaine à eau pour chats à mettre en extérieur, les fontaines habituelles étant branchées sur secteur... Quand j'ai vu l'existence de cet article, je me suis dit que je pouvais tester l'alimentation photovoltaïque ! J'étais un peu sceptique au début mais il n'y avait juste pas assez de soleil, lorsqu'il est bien au soleil cela marche très bien. Idéalement, je pense que les panneaux doivent être un peu recouverts d'eau et pas flotter au-dessus à sec. Le jet est très satisfaisant. Je ne sais pas si mes chats apprécient spécialement, ils s'habitueront peut-être ou bien continueront à boire de l'eau stagnante (il parait qu'ils préfèrent les eaux en mouvement...). En tout cas c'est très satisfaisant visuellement, et assez amusant, j'aimerais le tester avec des oiseaux comme illustré sur l'image aussi. Les divers embouts marchent bien pour faire plusieurs types de jets. Je recommande.

The birds love these little fountains in their bird bath, or in the pond. The only issue is it is quite windy where I am and the wind will push them to the side so that they are spraying out of the bath or pond. Easy fix though, I just hung a heavy washer from the bottom as an anchor and they work perfectly now. The plus is no batteries or wires, they are completely solar so on a real cloudy day they do not spray quite as high, but they work, and at night they shut down so you are not wearing out parts. Also very easy to clean when debris get sucked into the pump. Will be getting a couple more in the spring.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von diesem Solarbrunnen! Die Installation war super einfach und ganz ohne Kabel. Dank der sechs Düsen sieht der Wasserstrahl sehr schön aus und sorgt für eine tolle Atmosphäre im Garten. Die Solarfunktion funktioniert einwandfrei – sobald die Sonne scheint, startet der Brunnen sofort. Besonders schön finde ich, dass auch die Vögel den Brunnen lieben und gerne darin baden. Die Verarbeitung wirkt hochwertig, und das Design ist sehr ansprechend. Ich würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen und kann ihn nur weiterempfehlen!
