I have tried a fair few solar pumps before and thought as the price was so cheap I wasn't going to lose much by giving this a try. Worked perfectly in a garden water feature, the suction cups keeping the pump in place are very strong. There is a variety of fountain attachments to try. The lead from the pump to the solar panel is long enough to go from the water feature and then be attached to the top of a 6ft fence to capture more of the sun. Obviously if the sun isn't hitting the panel then the pump won't work as there isn't a battery back up. But for the price I thought it was better than I was expecting. Ideal for a small water feature or bird bath.

The media could not be loaded. Super surprised how tiny this pump was when opening the box. The panel has to be leaned to get sun but so far it’s working although more of a pulsing action due to not much sun on first day. Created a water feature using an old fire pit and some collected cobbles. Looks ok just need the sun to come out now to make it a bit more constant. Edit. When the sun is out, it’s great. Sometimes we have to cover the fountain with a small glass bowl if it’s windy to prevent water escaping from the pit. Really happy with it though. EDIT. We are now in mid July and it’s totally stopped working. Cleaned regularly but now doesn’t work at all. Gutted especially with the nice weather now.

The media could not be loaded. Small but works well definitely needs direct sun, but ideal for small little ponds just to jazz it up. Ideal for what we have as seen in video you'll see it change as the sun comes out, photo is the size of package for reference but has a fair bit of power when it goes. This is a great little fountain, it's waterflow power depends entirely on the level of sunlight with no battery capacity to store power. It is very small (UK 50p coin for scale in photo) and that works well for my needs, it is also lightweight, the suckers on the bottom work well to keep it in place. The bag of attachments mean you can change the water display from a bubble for a ornate little fountain. A quick wipe of the solar panel and water marks etc are soon gone.

Good little fountain if your garden is south facing or there’s a point in your garden that gets constant direct sunlight, however if not in direct sun the pump is intermittent spurts instead of a constant stream. When in constant stream it is a lovely size and height for a small fountain or bird bath and makes a lovely noise of water without being about to hear a pump humming. Several options for the spray type. Instructions don’t make much sense but with a bit of problem solving you’re able to build it yourself without an issue. Cheap answer to a nice garden ornament.

Good value for the price. Using this for a bird bath so it has some caveats for this purpose..... It comes with plenty of nozzles PROS -Lots of options to choose from with the spray tips included. -Easy plug-n-play setup. -works great as long as in DIRECT SUN CONS- even without the extension and with the shortest tip, for my 2" deep, 12" round bird bath it will still spray over the radius. Therefore, I have to keep an eye on it and refill throughout the day so the little motor doesn't burn up from running dry. Tip: since birds like to carry seed with them, I had to add a mesh fabric around the body to prevent tiny seeds and debris from going through the intake. Without it, the smallest particles would make it all the way to the tip, block a hole, and cause the spray to go rogue- not just N S E and West but throw in a random NNW at a 20 degree angle and out of the bowl. I still consider this a good value because it works as stated, just nothing fancy. No lights. No nighttime Bellagio fountain show in the backyard but birds like it.
