I have always wanted a water feature but with the rising cost of electric, am glad I waited for a decent solar version. This water feature is beautiful. Looks better in real life. Easily set up. I got fed up with moving the solar panel around to avoid it going into complete shade and so bought a couple of small L shaped brackets and some good quality, outdoor hook and loop (velcro). I stuck the velcro to the metal frame of the solar panel and the "L" shaped bracket. I then screwed the other side of the bracket to the fence so that it is flush with the top of the fence panel. I took great care to clean the solar panel and bracket first and left it 24 hours before putting on the fence to ensure the adhesive was at its strongest. It hasn't fallen down yet but if you decide to try this then it is at your risk and I take no responsibility. What you end up with is the solar panel at 90 degrees but you only really see the edges of it and it tends to blend in with the planting. Not as obvious as the panel sitting at an angle on the floor. This way it works all day, irrespective of the angle of the sun. Being solar, it will not work without the sun (but it doesn't need to be strong sun) and there is no battery storing energy from it. They have thought of that, however, and you can unplug the panel from the water feature and charge it up inside. It then works for hours when you choose and it is lovely sitting out on the patio on a summers evening watching the sun go down. A considered purchase, yes, but so worth it.
